Pleased we sorted that out. There do seem to be quite a few anglophones this year. My eldest has been asked to translate for a lad recently arrived in France who is now in her class. I confess that I have mixed feelings about this: on the one hand it is a good lesson for her in helping people who need it; on the other, she is supposed to be there getting an education herself. I’m sure it’ll work out tho’: she said his father was half French, so I imagine he’ll progress rapidly.

Yes indeed that was me in the playground! I too vaguely recognized your face but failed to place it. Our youngest, Joseph, has just started as well as our Irish friends’ daughter Mia. There is quite an english-speaking contingent in the intake this year

Hi I’m sixteen and I’m going to spend a year in the south of France and go to school. What was it like on your first day and was it easy to fit in. Iv okay French but I want to be fluent how long did it take you to become fluent ?

Good morning, i live in l ‘Orbrie, i was actor at Nieul Village de lumière, I am happy that you appreciate. As for French Cancan, it seems to me that at the beginning, it was name simply cancan and it’s english people who gave the name “french cancan”, This name was taken back by french people.
